Research and launch list privacy

This page explains how information submitted to the SKL-TN research survey and launch list is used. Last updated 5 October 2026.

What we collect and why

When you submit the four-question survey, we save your answers and the submission date without requiring an email address. The questions cover charging-port debris, phone platform, how often the problem occurs and whether it has stopped the phone charging properly. We use these answers for SKL-TN product research. Your name, phone number and payment details are not requested.

If you separately join the launch list, we also save your email address, the date you joined and your consent to receive SKL-TN development and launch emails. If you have just completed the survey in the same browser, we copy those answers to your launch-list record.

Who handles your information

The research and launch list are managed for SKL-TN by Oliver Longman. The website and database are hosted by Sam Heaton. Survey answers without an email are stored on this website and are not sent to Mailchimp. If you join the launch list, your email address and any linked research answers will also be stored in SKL-TN’s Mailchimp audience. Only authorised administrators can view or export the records. We do not sell your information.

Your choice

Joining the email launch list is optional. You can withdraw your email consent or ask to access, correct or delete information linked to you by emailing oliver@skl-tn.com. Confirmation and future launch emails include a way to unsubscribe.

How long information is kept

Research responses and signup records are scheduled for automatic deletion after 12 months. An unsubscribe request removes the email address from this website’s active launch list; an anonymous survey response remains until its scheduled deletion because it has no stored email address.

Cookies and website security

This landing page does not use analytics or advertising cookies. A one-hour, essential survey receipt cookie lets us connect your answers if you choose to join the launch list. The forms use a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. The hosting service may keep technical access logs for security and maintenance. WordPress uses necessary cookies when an administrator signs in.

Service status

The survey saves answers on the website. Mailchimp delivery for optional email signups is active.
